Conceptual Statement:
My installation originated from the colorful tents which stood there and revolutionized the whole country and carried people to the most popular scene of political acts of Turkey, Taksim Square. The units are scattered over this powerful public space, each representing the burnt over tents at night time. This time, they will stand there for freedom; like the opened wings of flying birds and will shine at night with the sun light they absorb in day time, for both illuminating the exhibition area by making up focal points and representing the firing of the police in 30th of May.
